A package of hairpin style fence segments that scale approximately 7'-10" long. Each segment features scale thickness parts:
The parts are printed flat at half thickness and are assembled by folding the two halves together and securing with a few drops of solvent cement. There are two styles of fence segments - "stretcher" that has 2" wide end posts so that gluing multiple segments together produces the correct 4" post. There are two "End" segments in each package, which has a 2" post at one end and a 4" post at the other. This allows all posts to appear to be the same 4" thickness when assembled.
The package contains 8 stretcher and 2 end segments for a total of 10 running segments of fence. 11 concrete style footers are included with holes to fit the 4x4" posts. The footers have a slightly enlarged base to provide an improved surface area when gluing the fence to your layout.
For HO, each fence segment is about 1.1" long and the package produces up to 10.8" of total fencing. Kits can be combined to create fence lines of any length, either by eliminating one set of the ends and joining all the stretchers, or filing the extra ends to a scale 2" width before joining them.
