A set of three rail painting masks. Start by painting the ties. Next, apply the appropriate mask and spray a grimy black at a sharp angle to hit the rail sides. Using the same mask, apply a spray of rust straight down to hit the tie plates. The result is a very realistic appearance!
The package includes 3 sizes and two types. The small, 40mm mask has a center grip and is perfect for tight spaces and the end of rail sections. The 60mm mask will work on most curves, while the 120mm mask is intended for straight sections.
Each mask is slotted for a piece of .010 styrene or cardstock to help prevent overspray onto other parts of the scenery.
