The Walthers ADM Grain Elevator is an awesome kit, with a less than ideal set of windows. Don't let the challenge of painting frames on an all-clear plastic part frustrate you! Our kit of windows provides all 44 parts printed in your choice of matte colors with a thin, translucent "glass" panel.
Printed in matte PLA in a choice of 8 colors (black, white, gray, olive, blue, yellow, red, or brown), the translucent layer provides the "backing" to mount the frame inside the opening. When glued, this layer virtually disappears - perfect for modelers creating a detailed interior. The first image shows the outline of the translucent material (0.2mm thick) in tan and the window frame in green (0.6mm thick). The second image shows the parts installed on an elevator.
